Marion
I have been in aged care here now for about three years.
I decided to make the move here because my husband was deceased, and I was living on our farm, but couldn’t even get to town as I had lost my licence.
My children all had jobs, kids at school and that sort of thing. Kind people offered to come and get me, but I thought it was asking too much.
I have no regrets whatever moving down here. I am looked after so well, meals are good, and I have a lovely room, and garden outside. There is also a lovely cat called Charlotte
There is no lack of entertainment, with lots of programs to do things, films to see, interesting speakers, quiz contests. I like to do some cooking, some gardening, and regular exercise along with lots of walking. We are also taken for drives.
The staff are wonderful – no complaints whatever.
I just hope they wouldn’t complain about me!
