I got involved with Leisure Networks in 2000 straight after high school.  I have cerebral palsy so I need assistance with things like note taking for study.

Leisure Networks have helped me to be able to go to TAFE and to continue my involvement in athletics.

I have competed overseas three times.  Twice at the Cerebral Palsy Championships and more recently I was invited by the Australian Para Olympic Committee to compete at the Far East and South Pacific Games where I won a bronze for discus.

Leisure Networks have also helped with job opportunities.  Because I was looking for work I did a twelve week work education course and a three month work placement.

Now I run a fitness and nutrition program for people with disabilities.  I prepare the program and participate in the activities, last week it was badminton, this week we start martial arts.

Rey has been helping me to get more work.  He helped me write my resume and submit job applications.  Now I have another job which is just great.
