My passion is the environment, and just where the world is heading, which was really fired up when I went travelling at twenty-one, and got a look at what was happening on a larger scale.

On my return, I went straight to the East Gippsland forest, and was shocked at the decimation because of logging.  This motivated me to start up Eco Shout, three years ago now, which has a website providing many ways to help the environment by donating money, being actively involved in a group, even starting up your own campaign, but also able to provide resources for established groups.

I am now involved in some more stable employment at Ross House in Flinders Lane, where more people work on social justice and environmental issues as well. There happens to be about fifty non-profit groups at Ross House, an amazing place and atmosphere to work in.

What I. love most of all, is getting out into the environment, out into the forest, and feeling personally involved trying to stop the destruction process.   I realise full well that this is a long haul, and there is a need to stay motivated, and I guess, not get worn down.
