Noticeboard
Based on member feedback, and an internal review of our communications, VCOSS Noticeboard has gone digital, in the form of a monthly E Bulletin. Many non-profit organisations already publish such bulletins and find it allows them a more immediate engagement with their members, while saving them money and reducing their impact on the environment.
What will be in the E Bulletin?
The new E bulletin will contain many of the features of Noticeboard but will be more interactive and allow easier and faster circulation of VCOSS information throughout your organisation.
In each edition we will provide details of a range of policy, sector development and other VCOSS activities, and enable readers to click straight through to the issue on our website, or to other relevant links.
To ensure everyone in your organisation or team has access to this important information, all you’ll need to do is forward it to them.

VCOSS will, of course, continue to mail hard copy material where appropriate.

Advertise in the Community Notices section of Noticeboard
Advertisement in the Community Notices section of e-Noticeboard will be available from March 2009. Advertising will cost $50 ($30 for VCOSS Members), this cost includes a brief in the VCOSS e-Noticeboard of 100 words which links to a block for that month on the Community Notices section of the VCOSS website. This block can include small images and links to flyers or websites.
Noticeboard is sent out to VCOSS' 500+ members regularly in the first week of the month. If you are interested in advertising in the Community Notices section of e-Noticeboard please contact Jennifer Heaney at vcoss@vcoss.org.au. All advertising content is due by the 3rd friday of the month before it is to go out i.e. advertising for the March 2009 edition is due by COB Friday 20 February, however it is important to contact VCOSS prior to this to ensure that space is made avaliable for you.
