Refugees and asylum seekers
VCOSS has actively supported the work of the Asylum Seeker Agencies Victoria (NASAVic) to ensure that refugees and asylum seekers have access to good health care.
VCOSS has particularly worked with Hotham Mission and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre to secure free ambulance services and access to public hospitals for refugees and asylum seekers.
VCOSS acknowledges the significant work and commitment by the Victorian Minister for Health in this area.
