Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport Review
In 2007, the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission (HREOC) reviewed the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport. This review has its own website – www.ddatransportreview.com.au
The Review was an important opportunity to support the idea of standards and argue for them to be stronger – and implemented more quickly. VCOSS made a submission via the Accessible Transport Watch Project.

The Accessible Transport Watch project held a separate consultation forum that in partnership with the Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (ADFO), and Transport Action Victoria.
The forum provided an opportunity for the views of people with different types of disabilities to be adequately represented in the review process.
