  • Engaging with MPs for policy outcomes

Empowered Lives brings together people with disability, advocates and organisations across the community.

Over 35 organisations so far have signed onto our ten-point policy platform, which outlines the key actions the Victorian Government needs to take to enable greater social and economic participation for Victorians with disability.

This workshop will feature Ged Kearney MP, Federal Member for Cooper (formerly Batman), along with VCOSS staff and representatives from disability organisations who will share their experiences meeting with and lobbying MPs for change.

Participants will receive resources to support their own efforts and individual follow-up and support.

This session is only open to staff, volunteers and participants from Empowered Lives Campaign member organisations.
