Negotiation and Conflict Management

People can often manage negotiation and conflict from different perspectives. This online workshop will help enhance your negotiation and conflict management skills. This will be done through an analysis of common conflict management styles and processes, understanding assertiveness and learning how to develop and then implement strategies to manage emotions. The facilitator will work collaboratively with participants to seek and apply alternative solutions to conflict with methods that can be transferred to everyday life.

Learning outcomes
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

demonstrate an understanding of common conflict management styles
demonstrate an understanding of about conflict management processes
demonstrate an understanding of assertiveness
develop strategies to manage emotions
seek and apply alternative solutions.

About the presenter
Lilia Szarski is a clinical supervisor and experienced trainer at Relationships Australia Victoria and a qualified, registered psychologist. She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society, International Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the International Association of Applied Psychologists.​
